Podcast #21: #GoodMuslimBadMuslim with Zahra Noorbakhsh

Zahra Noorbakhsh and Tanzila ‘Taz’ Ahmed started using the #GoodMuslimBadMuslim hashtag as a joke they tweeted back and forth between each other. When they started a podcast using the same name it became an instant hit, before they had even recorded their first episode. Zahra joins to discuss the show, and the things she’s learned about podcasting in the process.

In College Radio Watch Jennifer reports that KEXP’s syndicated “Under the Needle” live performance series is now broadcasting on college and community stations, and discusses one community station that’s making a concerted effort to recruit college DJs. Lasar’s Letter on Radio focuses on a 1972 community radio program in which men discuss feminism’s impact on their lives. Over 40 years later, how will a contemporary performance artist interpret the show?
