College Broadcasters Inc. (CBI) just announced that its 2nd National Student Electronic Media Convention will be held in San Antonio, Texas this fall.
Focused on all forms of student electronic media, including radio, television, video, and webcasting, the event will be similar to the organization’s first solo conference, which was held in Atlanta in October, 2012 . Prior to that, CBI curated student radio, TV, and webcasting sessions for the National College Media Convention .
The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio, Texas from October 31 through November 2, 2013. More details will be forthcoming on the CBI website.

Jennifer Waits is co-founder of Radio Survivor and is its College Radio and Culture Editor. She's fascinated by the culture of radio and has visited more than 200 radio stations in the United States, Canada and Ireland. She is passionate about radio history and is Co-chair of the College, Community and Educational Radio Caucus on the Library of Congress' Radio Preservation Task Force.
