College Radio Watch: KFJC in Liverpool, WXTJ’s Trash House, and More News

I’m in a musical haze because my home station KFJC is doing another live broadcast today, which began at around 7:30am PDT, this time from the Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia. For more back story, tune in to this week’s Radio Survivor Podcast. In addition to my chatter about KFJC’s international broadcasts (including last week’s from Iceland), we also cover a number of college radio stories, including the pending sale of the WBRU license, upcoming conferences, and in our bonus “after dark” feature: nature sounds.

Once again, I’m thinking of anyone suffering during the most recent spate of disasters around the world, including the earthquake in Mexico City and Hurricane Maria in the Caribbean. I know that many radio friends are struggling during these catastrophic events and I’m wishing everyone the best.
