mtvU announces 10 College Radio Woodie finalists

Voting continues for the 2013 mtvU College Radio Woodie Award. After a preliminary nomination period, the number of college radio stations in the running was reduced to 25 and is now narrowed down to voters’ favorite 10 U.S. college radio stations.

Online voters can cast ballots until 3:59:59 PM (ET) on March 14, 2013. The winning station will be announced at a ceremony in Austin during the South By Southwest (SXSW) music festival. The Woodie Awards (“honoring music college students love”), will air on mtvU and on MTV on March 17.

The 10 finalists are:

WPTS (University of Pittsburgh, PA)

WITR (Rochester Institute of Technology, NY)

WXOU (Oakland University, Rochester, MI)

WGCS (Goshen College, Goshen, IN)

KALX (University of California, Berkeley, CA)

WZND (Illinois State University, Normal, IL)

ACRN (Ohio University, Athens, OH)

KSUA (University of Alaska, Fairbanks, AK)

WSOU (Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ)

WDBM (Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI)
