12 Days of Radio Station Signage: Day 3 – You are Being Monitored

Radio station signs come in a variety of forms, but often they are created by radio station staffers in order to discourage bad behavior.

We’ve already covered not spraying, avoiding dead air, and now we move on to one of the most important: don’t steal music. Radio station music libraries are supposed to be sacred places and music is never supposed to leave the studio, so it’s sad that DJs have to be reminded to keep music in its place. And it’s even sadder when monitoring devices must be installed in order to keep music from disappearing.

Where do you think this warning sign appeared?

  1. Guise Faux says:

Reference to “kill the chavs” on the sign… warnings not to steal.

Clearly this is UK station BLAG.

  2. Jennifer Waits says:

Hey Guise–good guess, but, nope, this is not a station in the UK.

  3. Jennifer Waits says:

    It’s not KALX…but you are getting warmer….
